SES Tutor Provider's Fair Coolidge High School and West School, jointly, will be hosting an SES Tutor Provider’s Fair on Thursday, September 16, 2010, from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the CHS Media Center. Students from CHS and West School who qualify for free or reduced lunch are eligible to receive tutoring services from designated 3rd party providers - at no charge - to families. If you are interested in participating, please plan to attend the fair. For questions about the program, please contact Cheryl Sullivan, AP at CHS (723-2343) or Gerald Streit, Principal at West School (723-2702). School Supplies The start of a new school year is just around the corner, and stores are gearing up for big sales on school supplies. This is the perfect time to stock up! You can use this list of supplies needed by grade level to help you make the best purchases for your children. We Need Your Help! We need parents to be volunteers on field trips and school events. Volunteers have to do a finger print check in order to help at school. The Family Resource Center will help you with the forms. Please call 723-2701 for more information. School Wish List Have any books you don't read anymore or magazines like National Geographic laying around collecting dust? From markers to games, the school can use many different items. If you would like to help out the school, feel free to bring items from the school wish list to the front office or to your student’s teacher directly. The staff at West School appreciates your continued support. Click here to see the school wish list items. What are the Cafeteria Rules? Students can only eat in the lunchroom. They should use good table manners, eat while seated, talk using quiet voices, and enter and exit the lunchroom in an orderly manner. We expect all students to remain at their assigned table until we dismiss them, and we also expect them to keep their area clean. Breakfast is from 7:15 a.m. - 7:45, a.m and we schedule lunch times by grade level (see your child’s teacher for his or her schedule). |
